My name is Bonnie Bastien. I am an Independent Producer of Artist Programs and Projects in Boston, MA. I help artists make their work by designing and administrating programs that foster their creative processes as well as one-on-one consulting and artist project management. I am an artist, a craftsman, a Boston loyalist, and a lover of the garden, the kitchen, and public radio. I spent some years as curator for an amazing urban artist residency program which became the origin of this work. I love it.

The blog is where I gather thoughts, spotlights, and videos of the people, places, and organizations that do the work to support, enable, and influence artists and their creative process, specifically. It’s about what goes into supporting the generation of an idea, the research and development, the experimentation, and the community of art making.
